Cycloramas are very useful for the creation of 3D urban models. The basic block model can be produced (semi-) automated with the use of aerial images. The smaller object features are modelled from Cycloramas with the use of photogrammetric methods. The 3D model can also be made more appealing by adding texturing. Cycloramas are especially suitable for this due to the high level of detail.
