Aquaramas

An Aquarama is a 360-degree panoramic photo, taken from waterways. CycloMedia’s Aquaramas give an immediate and comprehensive overview of the environment. Since photos are taken every 10 meters, objects can be viewed from different angles. With Aquaramas you can easily collect information about the anything in the environment situated alongside of the waterways, such as waterside structures, moorings, vegetation and towpaths.

Aquaramas have the following characteristics:

• A 360-degree panoramic photo of high resolution;
• Spherical, besides a 360-degree field of view you can also look straight up and down;
• Good uninterrupted view, no visible stitching in an image;
• Upright image; recordings made on a slope are corrected, insuring that the images will always have a level horizon;
• Of every image the recording date and time is known;
• Geometrically correct, of every pixel the exact location is known;
• Outstanding geo-referencing, precise information about the position and viewing direction;
• Easy to open and manage with the provided tables and special software.

Since the location and orientation is known for every recording, the images can be easily connected to various systems. In a Aquarama you have a 360-degree field of view, but you can also zoom in and out.
