GlobeSpotter is an interactive application which gives you access to 360° panoramic photos (Cycloramas) and aerial images. The software and data are directly available from CycloMedia’s server. As a result the product can be easily implemented in your daily activities. You will furthermore always have access to the most current data. GlobeSpotter is suitable for organisations in various industries such as central government, local government, real estate, financial institutions, utilities and construction.
GlobeSpotter SaaS or Locally Installed
Customarily GlobeSpotter is provided via the web (Software as a Service). Both the software and the data are available from the servers of CycloMedia, this allows you to make quick and easy use of the application. Moreover, you will not have to look after the ICT infrastructure whilst you will have automatic access to the latest data and software. However, if you prefer to have a private server for Cycloramas, then the GlobeSpotter application can also be installed locally within your organisation.
GlobeSpotter Pro
With GlobeSpotter Pro a couple of important functionalities are added to the GlobeSpotter application. You will for instance be able to select and take stock of visible objects. This allows you to perform activities faster, more efficiently and accurately when using the imagery.
Mapping
The mapping functionality provides a toolbox with which you can make measurements. It allows you to: identify the geographic coordinates of an object (geocoding/stock-taking), make height and width measurements, or determine the volume of a building.
Overlay
With this function you can project your own data onto the aerial photos and Cycloramas. This enables you to present your data in a very accessible way to users. Data can be added in different formats such as WFS, WMS, SHAPE and GML.
Training
If you are new to GlobeSpotter, CycloMedia offers a comprehensive introduction about the user possibilities by means of a training session. During the session you will become acquainted with GlobeSpotter and all the functionalities, so that you can make optimal use of the acquired data and software in your work processes. The basic training session takes half a day, and consists out of group and individual exercises. You will furthermore gain hands-on experience with the GlobeSpotter application. The training session can be held in Utrecht, Waardenburg or onsite. The measuring and overlay functionalities of GlobeSpotter Pro will be treated in a second training session.
