The stock-taking of traffic signs is done by means of Mobile Mapping. Through Mobile Mapping we perform large-scale and systematic visualisations of the environment, using Cycloramas (spherical panoramic photos). The Cycloramas will be used to create an inventory of your traffic signs. Ultimately, we will provide you with an inventory file in which every traffic sign’s location (X and Y coordinates) and the specific traffic sign type is determined. Furthermore, you will receive a panoramic photo of every traffic sign and its location. These files are compatible with other data sources and are easy to open in your (GIS) system.
With the traffic sign inventory and the Cycloramas you will have accurate tools at your disposal for the management of all your traffic signs. Besides that, it can be used as a tool for managing traffic flows (control of rat-run routes) and maintaining legal regulations.
