DevOps Engineer in Machine Learning

About the team

The European Data Analytics team focuses on algorithms to retrieve information from our images and LiDAR products, in automatic or semi-automatic manner. Notable examples are traffic signs, billboards as examples of asset inventories and faces/license-plates in order to comply with privacy regulations. The team consists of  8 employees and several PhD/MSc students, and comprises almost as many nationalities.

About the job

Cyclomedia is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the European Data Analytics R&D Cluster. In this role, you will support the team to create innovative solutions in the field of automated object detection, manual annotation workflows, and large scale processing. We solicit applications from individuals who find it a challenge to create stable software systems in the area of computer vision and machine learning. We offer the opportunity to work with researchers and developers in a flexible and creative industrial research environment on cutting edge technologies.

Required qualifications

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Several years of experience with (Microsoft Azure) cloud-based, large-scale processing; deploying and maintaining semi-automated workflows including the use of databases, docker, build pipelines etcetera
  • Software development in Python preferably in Linux
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude, initiative, creativity and flexibility, as well as result oriented
  • Experience with Linux systems

Preferred qualifications:

  • Software development with C++ and / or C# (Unity)
  • Knowledge of GIS database and tooling
  • Knowledge of OpenCV, Numpy, Caffe, Pytorch, Tensorflow
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Deep Learning
  • Knowledge of version management tooling GIT
  • Knowledge/Experience with Point Clouds (LAZ, Point Cloud Library)
