What did you enjoy most about your role as an Account Executive?
The relationships with our valued customers are what I, personally, enjoy about this Account Executive role. Working with a customer to understand their business needs and then crafting a solution that solves those challenges is extremely rewarding.
What were some of your day-to-day responsibilities?
Collaborating with colleagues, partners, customers, and industry SMEs (subject matter experts). Sharing Cyclomedia’s story to help Local Government customers and prospects alike understand the difference our solutions can make. Being the main POC for the territory and understanding the ever-changing landscape of today’s County, City, and Municipal governments… influencing the transformation of those governments through modern solutions to age-old problems. Having the ability to positively contribute to our growing Local Government team.
Account Executives wear many hats!
What qualities make a successful Account Executive?
A successful Account Executive understands his or her customers’ needs by building a relationship with them that positions you as a trusted advisor. They are diligent with their outreach and education of the territory they serve… serving on regional user groups, attending conferences, and being available to answer questions. They work with their teammates to share/learn true wisdom across the verticals we can serve. They leverage the company’s Product, Marketing, and Operations experience by being the hub of communication and activity across the territory they serve.
