The City of Las Vegas' Fox 5 news network released a segment on Cyclomedia's work with the city, citing their newfound ability to keep track of and troubleshoot infrastructure. The report cites an extensive study conducted by the City, during which Cyclomedia collection vehicles drove about 2,600 miles worth of roads. The focus of the project was traffic assets, such as street lights and traffic signs, to not only improve the city's infrastructure but also improve emergency response times to motor vehicle accidents. This new asset data, which had not been updated in about 20 years, showed 30,000 more signs and 10,000 more lights than the city previously had in its system.
