Recently, the US Department of Transportation published a press release regarding their plans for the funds allocated to them to support their goal of helping communities plan and design safer streets. This goal is a key element of the department’s National Roadway Safety Strategy, which outlines their comprehensive approach to significantly reducing serious injuries and deaths on our Nation’s highways, roads, and streets.
