Dominik Juric (Junior Account Manager)

Can you describe a typical day in your role and the key responsibilities you handle?

Team Dominik Juric

As an Account Manager, you are responsible for expanding the customer base. Depending on the segment, you will look for new customers and work out the added value based on use cases. In addition, Cyclomedia has a large number of existing customers for whom you act as a contact person for further projects and general questions.  

A typical day for me consists of numerous phone calls regarding ongoing projects. I am regularly in close contact with our customers and prospects and try to understand their needs and adapt our solutions accordingly. 

In addition to constant customer contact, my tasks also include close communication with marketing and pre-sales, where we work on our approach and organize initiatives on a daily basis.

What skills and qualities do you believe are crucial for success in this role?

Gloria Schierstein

I think that intrinsic motivation is crucial for being successful in this role. Curiosity for known and unknown subject areas as well as potential customers is a requirement! I see enthusiasm as well as the willingness and awareness to take responsibility for one’s own area of influence as important characteristics of an account manager. Strategic thinking and acting are also part of the skills of a good sales person who can be successful at Cyclomedia.

All actions must be focused on the goal of mutual value creation on both the customer and company side in a relationship based on partnership.
